Following a strong groundswell of support for more carpooling from the last potluck, we have set up a group on the transition website: Ridesharing to facilitate matching those looking for rides with those willing to offer rides. Please participate if you fall in either of these groups…and avail of an opportunity to engage in the spirit of Transition.

TRANSITION SALT SPRING

Transition Salt Spring (TSS) is a local group within the Salt Spring Island community, committed to working together with all existing groups to address the urgent and critical issues of global climate change and declining fossil fuel supplies. Climate change makes carbon reduction essential and peak oil makes it inevitable. Transition Salt Spring is part of a large and growing international network of transition communities worldwide.
