Dennis, Thank you for helping to bring us back into the fold! Life comes full circle...maybe we should change the name to Earth Day Festival:-)

Nomi, thanks for creating this Page for those planning the Earth Day Celebration. Gratitude also to the core group of people who have, over the past five years, carried forward the tradition of celebrating Earth Day on Salt Spring. It's fitting that the original name of Transition Salt Spring - founded back in 1997 - was the Earth Festival Society. Special thanks to Alex Lyons, Nomi Lyonns, Elizabeth FitzZaland, Eric Gordon, Sarah-Jane Smith, and Robin Jenkinson who have been with Earth Day SSI for a long time (am I right?) as well as Tamar Griggs.  [Do I need to amend or fix this list?].

The purpose of this group is to communication about the planning of each year's event (i.e. anyone interested in planning or already part of the committee in any given year).

-- Each year, Earth Day event should get posted (as it has this year, 2017) on the TSS Calendar (which is on the main page), such as this year's event
