Jim, thank you for letting us know that you'll be coming to Green Drinks this month. We like to have a topic and speaker(s) each month but some months it doesn't happen for us. It looks like you've recently decided to attend and that you wanted us all to know. I expect there'll be a decent number of people there, even if they may not know that you'll be there to talk. Thank you for letting us know you'll be in attendance. - Dennis

Dear Jim, I doubt many people will make it to Moby's for this as it's hard to plan for something which is happening the next day (tomorrow) and it's not clear what time it's happening. But it does sound interesting.

all the best, Jan

Katharine, did you find someone?  I'm not doing it commercially nowadays, but have done in the past.  I'd be happy to take a look, if it would be helpful.  Best, Steve

Katharine - Someone who will know is Dave Elderton - and as it turns out, he is making a presentation about solar hot water a week from this Thursday, at the Green Drinks event.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend someone on Salt Spring that services solar hot water heating systems?

Thank you!

Storing and sequestering carbon -- one vehicle is our soil, that is, restoring soil to great condition via organic farming -- that's the thesis of this article in The Guardian:

The tech covered in this article is home building ... falls short of Natural Building which to me is the idea, but, it represents a huge step for the traditional building industry that I take as a positive indicator even if just "incremental":
