Glad to join your circle of friends. I hope you found some useful information at the review of Robert Reindl's tracker conversion last month. Simon Wheeler and I both attended the Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association Electric Vehicle fest in Vancouver last weekend. There were quite a number of conversions on display. Most cars/trucks were going with AC conversions. Randy Holmquist (Canadian Electric Vehiicles in Errington) had a very nice newer VW beetle conversion. Unfortunately it was quite high end so the cost was pretty high as well and tended to scare people off. We also saw the UBC Club's beetle conversion that has very high range...something over 400 km. It was full of Lion batteries. Anyway, all very interesting and we'll try to post a little report on the EV group here.
